The word podcast is a combination of the words iPod and broadcast. Its simply a form of broadcasting used on the internet.
The Christian Centre has its own Podcast for the Sunday sermons. The podcast automatically updates showing the latest sermons when they are published.
No, you do not need an iPod to listen to our sermons. You can listen to our messages on a variety of different devices including: portable MP3 players, computers, PDAs and mobile phones.
If you subscribe to the podcast, your downloader program will let you know when we have published new sermons. Many programs will automatically download these messages and even upload them to MP3 player or mobile phone.
No, you do not have to subscribe to listen to our sermons. The main sermon page has a [Listen] link next to each sermon. Clicking the link allows you to listen to the message in the browser or your computer's media player.
All our sermons are delivered free of charge. You may download them, listen to them as many times as you wish and even pass them onto friends. We only ask to you do not edit or distort any of the them.
We'd rather you didn't but we have no problem with you quoting/using any of our ideas.
Messages are given by leaders at the Christian Centre or the occasional guest speaker. We are not professionals and most of us do not work full-time for the church.

Originally, they were published for members only, with password protection. Some of our people are involved in other activities during the sermon (such as youth or children's work). These were keen not to miss out on the message.
Other people were keen to catch-up on messages they'd missed in particular sermon series. The password system proved too cumbersome and complicated for many people.
Since publishing live to the web, the number of subscribers has grown. We now have a listeners from all over the UK and the world.
Syndication feeds are a way of keeping up-to-date with the latest information or news on a website. Through syndication it is possible to monitor changes to a website without trawling through its pages.
Our podcast is a syndication feed (RSS) and can be subscribed to like any RSS feed.
Many web portals such as Yahoo! or iGoogle allow you to add feeds to your homepages. Latest content or news then appears on the homepage as clickable links.
Most of the newer web browsers such as Firefox or Internet Exporer 7 allow you to subscribe to feeds, adding them as live bookmarks (favourites).
