What we do
If you are a student in Teesside, then The Christian Centre is a great place to belong!
We are a growing church who are committed to supporting students, whether you are a Christian or just want to know more about church and what it is.
We also encourage students to play an active role in church life. Many of our students and graduates have roles in the welcome team, worship band and other aspects of church life.
However, we also recognise that students need to be looked after! We hold a weekly connect group, made up of 18-30 year olds and regularly hold social events, such as meals out or cinema trips.
Our student team is made up of recent graduates, who know all about the pressures and issues students face. They will make you feel very welcome and are always happy to answer any questions or queries you may have about church life and studying in Teesside.
International students:
Our current church congregation has a number of different nationalities represented and many of the recent students and graduates who have joined the church have been from overseas. We aim to support all students who are studying in Teesside, but also realise that international students may require extra help in arriving and settling in a new country.

Visiting:
We meet together on a Sunday morning at 10.30am at St. Mary's Centre, Corporation Road. Or why not join us from 10.00am for tea and coffee and a great chance to meet other people.
