Paul is 53 years of age and has been married to Christine for 29 years. They have two grown up sons Marc aged 23 years and Luke aged 20 years. They are all very involved in the life of The Christian Centre, Middlesbrough. Before becoming a Pastor, Paul was a civil servant in South Wales for 12 years. A job he still talks about in glowing language!
Paul exercises an apostolic ministry and is the regional superintendent for the Apostolic Churches in the North-East. Paul's passion is to see each local church relevant, outward focussed and exuding lots of life. He heads up the training programme for the national church and is very keen to help younger pastors in their own personal development.
Paul entered the full time ministry in 1989 and was located in Clydebank near Glasgow. Paul saw some success there and moved to Teesside in 1998.
During that time we have seen the church grow significantly and move into the centre of Middlesbrough. Paul's preaching is practical and challenging combined with lots of humour.
Paul is a passionate Welshman, who loves rugby and lots of other sports. He along with his 2 sons are also Season ticket holders at the Riverside supporting our local team. Paul's favourite TV programme is Question Time and Match of the Day.

David is 45 years of age, he is born and bred in Middlesbrough. He has been married to Angela for 22 years and has two grown up daughters Natalie and Ruth, and don't forget their three year old puppy dog Harvey, (the head of the home).
David spends some of his spare time restoring an old Bultaco trials motorbike in the quietness of his garage. Also along with Angela he enjoys sitting in front of the TV watching a good movie or two. David also likes going to the cinema when ever possible followed by a visit to pizza hut.
David works full time as an Internal Auditor and spends many hours a week behind the wheel of a car traveling the country. Thankfully he has a good range of CD's to keep him occupied along the way. His wife Angela works as a dispenser for Lloyds Pharmacy and loves the interaction with her customers within a very busy working environment.
David became a Christian in June 1998 after having an amazing life changing encounter with God that turned his life around. He served as an Elder for a while before being ordained into the ministry as a Pastor in June 2007.
David has recently completed a Bereavement Counselling course through Teesside University focusing on childhood bereavement, and is now coming to the end of a similar course covering bereavement for adults. He says that this course has been very challenging, however very rewarding at the same time.
David clearly has a love and a heart for people of all ages and finds nothing more fulfilling than being able to preach the gospel, as well as heading up, and serving the Lord on a Pastoral Care team, covering ministry within the church meetings, as well as covering home and hospital visits.
In 2009 David had a clear vision from God to see the Children's work become a major part of our service to the community we serve. Since then he has been mission focused in developing a thriving Children's work within our main Sunday morning program.
